Spirals deliver series of workshops for local District Council
22nd December 2009
Spirals have completed a series of 10 ‘Creating and Maintaining Sustainable Communities’ workshops for a local district council, aimed at providing the parishes with the necessary tools to help them deliver change in their communities. The workshops covered a variety of issues, ranging from Transportation and the Environment, through to the Growth Agenda and Dealing with Conflict in the Community. The workshops played host to a number of speakers, including Norfolk Constabulary and the UEA, and had participatory involvement with delegates to help the council understand the barriers to community involvement.
Spirals will submit a report early in 2010 which will detail feedback from the workshops and key findings for the council to consider.
