Spirals' work hits the Press!
In January 2010 Spirals began work for 12 public sector bodies, covering £88 million worth of frontline services, to deliver cashable savings.
In total Spirals identified £30 million of savings over five years in three key areas; Regulatory Services, Waste Management and Vehicles. This equates to around 7% a year. The bulk of these savings came from sharing services in waste, a reduction of staff numbers in regulatory services, and more efficient procurement in vehicles. Not surprisingly the local press picked up on these figures and gave an accurate overview of our report.
Spirals hope to continue working with the 12 bodies in the future.
