Spirals Workbook Published by the Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

We have recently written a workbook, commissioned by PAS, to help local authorities link their Local Development Framework and Community Strategy together. The workbook shares the experience we have gained whilst running a programme to support over 15 councils. It gives advice on how you can help start close the gap between your core strategy and other key strategic documents in your council.
The workbook includes:
- Common challenges - creating a single vision, engaging with others, delivering the vision
- Working together - unitary and two tier authorities
- Being place specific
- Tips and strategies - linking up of partnership planners, joint working around a common evidence base, developing a long term vision for the place
