This is a one day programme.
Who should attend?
Our common sense and practical workshops give people the skills to improve service delivery. We are yet to run a workshop that has not identified some simple improvements. There is no entry requirement for the programme as everyone will benefit from the hands on and practical nature of the workshop. The workshop has been designed with the following people in mind.
- Managers who would like to improve service delivery.
- Managers who need to free up resources.
- Someone who has just been given the responsibility to improve a service, but feel they need some practical skills and advice to get them started.
- Teams that need to improve performance e.g. to meet a performance target.

- Understanding the broad approaches available and their pros and cons.
- Applying system theory to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Use a range of tools and apply the key elements of BPR and process mapping.
- Identifying areas for improvement.
- Action planning.
All delegates are encouraged to challenge the tools and techniques to ensure they can be applied back in the office. Delegates receive a comprehensive handout covering all of the themes.
